Dear Principals, Teachers and Other Educators,

Thank you for your interest in applying for a School Innovation Grant in Denver Public Schools. The primary purpose of these grants is to support innovative initiatives aimed at increasing student achievement throughout the district. DPS seeks to fund proposals that are:

Aligned with the School Innovation Grants standards approved by the Board of Education (see Standards link at left);
Research-based;
Proven effective with demographically similar populations; and
Developed in accord with the Denver Plan and its standards for improving student achievement.

Grant funds are expressly targeted for “start up” efforts only and are not intended to support long term staffing or programmatic features.
